Accurate and up to date: According to 4th principle, Personal data must be accurate and up to date if necessary. This means that the accuracy of the data must be ensure whatever it is directly obtained from the data subject or it is through third party. Not kept for longer than is necessary: According to 5th principle, Personal data must not be kept longer than is required for the purpose or purposes after it is processed. Process in line with a persons right: According to 6th principle, Personal data shall be processed with the data subject rights under the Data Protection act. This means the data subject has the right to request for the correction, blocking and deleting of their personal data after processing. Secure: According to 7th principle, the security of personal data must be ensures. This means that in case of unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss and destruction to the personal data appropriate technical and organisational measures should be taken to prevent such incidents. Data Transfer According to 8th principle, Personal data must not be transferred outside the European Economic Area i.e. to outside countries. If the outside countries can ensures that personal data will have adequate level of protection and will be processed with the consent of data object and for the specified purpose, then in such situation data can be transferred. But do you know how a computer works and runs all the programs you what it to? Well if not I will tell you. To begin with I will explain a little about the history about the computers history. About 50 years or maybe a little longer someone came up with the thought that all the boring stuff like math could be automated so humans would not have to do it all. Hence the computer, as to who exactly I could not tell you. That person than began to work with his Idea and figured out that if he could turn a machine on and off at a specified time for a specified time he could in a way alter what it could do. To turn it on and off he came up with a very interesting way, he used a sheet that looked almost like a scantron sheet but with holes and those holes where used to turn it on and off. The holes represented 1s and the noholes 0s. the 1s turned it on an the 0s turned it off. With this knowledge he began to make little programs that could solve math problems. I guess he must have gotten bored with the math or something because he came up with a way to let him play tic-tack toe with the computer, which by the way was the first came ever to be created on the computer. Now there is one more thing you have to know about this computer, the computer was half the size of West High Schools gym. And it was thought that when it was ecomoical for people to own there own computer it would fill a decent size room. Could you imagine a computer filling up your entire living room, where wolud you put your TV? Labor History essays The 1st Industrial Revolution occurred during the mid 1800s. It was defined as the era of Industrial Capitalism. Economic life, in this period, began with very few wage-earning employment opportunities and had the majority of families involved in subsistence farm work. Along side these means for survival, existed few, independently owned craft shops, run by skilled, white artisans, journeymen and their apprentices. During this era, life went on to include large manufactories owned by capital seeking employers. Job opportunities were then created for many women and unskilled workers seeking wage-earning positions. However, with this economic development came the conflict between proud craft workers and capitalistic factory owners. Groups of skilled artisans protested by banding together to keep their heritage alive and strong, thus, the Craft Union was born. The expansion of a unionized society developed along side the growth of manufactories, and was known as Industrial unio nization. As the industrial world grew, over the next 50 years, so too did the attitude of capitalistic employers. By the 1920s, employers and factory owners had the idea to better control production and monitor work, based on the theory of Scientific Management. This attempt for greater control over production became known as the 2nd Industrial Revolution. The industry growth had formed large groups of workers who united to create some powerful industrial unions, used to protect themselves from these new managers. Water is a Drug essays The function of our project is a light control system. The lights can be controlled at two different frequencies or speeds, and on two different patterns. There is a simple user interface consisting of two switches and two push button switches. The user can choose to run the lights slowly or quickly by flipping a switch. The user can also choose one of two different modes in which the lights will run by flipping another switch. The system uses 4 volts of electricity and therefore can be left running for a long time with the much power consumption. For the sake of simplicity all work project uses only two different color lights but more colors can be implemented. The idea is to use a small number of chips to produce a large output. Our project uses five D flip-flops as well as four XOR gates. With two 555 timers, the flip-flops can be used as counters at two different speeds. The output of each flip-flop is connected to four LEDs that produces a running effect when turned on . Our project is for decoration purposes. When power is provided the light control system begins to work on its own. From here the use can select the speed at which he or she wants the lights to operate as well as select the pattern of choice. If at any time they user wishes to check for burnt lights he or she can press the ALL ON button and all the lights will come on. Using the switch labeled SPEED CONTROL the user can select at which rate the lights should move. Using the PATTERN switch, the user can select the pattern of choice. If at any time the user feels the lights are not running as they should he or she can reset the lights using the RESET button. Using both combinational and sequential logic, we have put together a system of lights that rely upon the output of a 5-bit counter, as well as two 555 timers to provide a clock signal to the 5-bit counter.
